The world of live action role-play (LARP) has invaded the office for our latest client, Aftermath.

They require a re-vamp of their logo and a CMS site to allow for events, the history of Aftermath and the rules to be available online.

The designs include a new brand identity and a website which helps promote the atmosphere of the city of Af’ael and the battles between races.

Moo-velous

Moo la la is Sheffield’s newest restaurant and truly is ‘Your Local Restaurant’.

The aim of Moo is to specialise in local produce from local farmers and producers within Sheffield. The restaurant will open on the 15th March and will be serving a selection of beef, chicken and pork from Sheffield butchers – but will also offer many traditional classic dishes. Everything is home made and even the potatoes for the hand made chips are from local farmers. Pop in and enjoy a taste sensation.

The new identity has been design to create a fresh and modern feel to the restaurant and has been applied to a number of marketing materials, such as: menus, shop frontage and signage, email marketing, website, leaflets, posters, stationery and reservation cards.

Green Streets

Green Street Media are finalists in the Barclays One Small Step competition to find Britain’s most innovative new companies.

Green Street Media who use a unique template system to pressure wash your logo and marketing message into pavements or roads. This means you have a semi-permanent message that does not require anything other than water to create! Completely clean and which naturally wears away over time.

I have been working with Conrad  to create a brand identity that encompasses his unique process and that instantly informs about the clean and green nature of the business. Here is his new brand identity.

Google – the dogs dangly bits

Google has become a household name and has earned its place to become an invaluable tool in current times. The Google brand identity is instantly recognisable and has been a major part of establishing the global Google phenomenon.

Part of the unique nature of Google has been born from the use of personalising the search engine home page to pay respect and homage to key events in history as well as adding humour and interest to holidays and other notable dates.

The use of ‘themed’ Google logos has gained a large fan base and the next versions are always eagerly awaited. Logos are developed for many notable dates, anniversaries and birthdays across the world.

FedEx - Fantastic Logo Design

FedEx - Fantastic Logo Design

I’m a little obsessed with logo designs. The logo is the heart of any brand and that brand will only be as good as the image it projects. There are loads of logos that are instantly recognizable, major brands that we see on a day by day basis but don’t always see just how clever they are.

One of my personal favs is the FedEx logo. So unbelievably simple yet hiding a strong visual message that is often overlooked. The logo has a right-pointing arrow located in the negative space between the E and x. Often described as a subliminal message the arrow symbolises forward movement and thinking so brilliantly implemented to represent the ethos of the FedEx business. Just brilliant!
